Start with how the office is actually used
A meeting room occupied by ten people for short periods behaves differently from an open-plan area used all day. Document occupancy, floor plan, ceiling height, operating hours and major pollution sources before selecting equipment.
Noise matters in working spaces
A purifier that is technically powerful but too loud for normal use may spend most of its time on a low setting. Compare performance at the operating level people will realistically tolerate. Location can also affect perceived noise, especially near desks or meeting tables.
Do not overlook ventilation
Air purification can reduce particles and, with suitable media, some gases and odors. It does not replace the outdoor air required for occupied workplaces. Existing HVAC operation and ventilation rates should be reviewed as part of the same plan.
Plan maintenance before installation
Offices need clear responsibility for filter inspection and replacement. A system with difficult access can be neglected. Record filter types, replacement procedure, inspection frequency and who is responsible for service.
Zoning can improve coverage
Large or divided offices may benefit from several treatment points. Zoning can improve distribution and provide redundancy. It also allows different areas to operate at different levels depending on occupancy.
Architectural integration
Where floor space and visual order matter, ceiling-integrated systems can be attractive because they keep circulation equipment out of the furniture zone. Installation should still prioritize service access and measurable air movement.
